The challenge

Northwind's project-management tool had powerful features buried under a confusing navigation inherited from five years of accretion. New users hit a wall at day 7 and churned; support was overwhelmed.

Our approach

A two-sprint UX audit identified six 'dead ends' in the onboarding flow. We restructured information architecture around jobs-to-be-done, introduced contextual empty states with guided actions, and rebuilt the dashboard as a single composable view. All delivered in Figma with a full component library handed off for the engineering team to implement.
